You can sell your garments back for store credit whenever you'd like in three easy steps:

Once we receive a garment you've sold back to us, we do everything possible to refurbish it and resell it, keeping it at its highest value. You'll soon be able to buy refurbished garments side-by-side with new versions of the same garment right here on Stilbaar. This will start as soon as shoppers start selling back to us the garments they're no longer wearing. Every refurbished garment will be guaranteed to be free of defects, so you won't need to dig through photos looking for stains or tears.
Ultimately, though, every garment reaches the end of its life, and when that happens we bundle it with other end-of-life garments and deliver it to textile-to-textile recyclers such as Evrnu, Infinited Fiber or Circ so that they can make it into new fibres like Nucycl, Infinna and Circ Lyocell. Importantly, every garment we sell is carefully chosen based on the materials it's made of. We sell only garments made of natural fibres such as cotton, linen, modal, etc. so that they can be used as feedstock for these processes. We avoid synthetic fabrics — even pure polyesters that could be regenerated — due to the microfibres they emit.
You can check the current sell-back price of your garment at any time simply by tapping your smartphone (Apple or Android) on an NFC tag we attach under or next to the brand label. As when using your phone to make contactless payments, be sure your phone is turned on, and tap the top of your phone to the chip for best results. You can also check the sell-back price by scrolling down to the previous purchases displayed in your Cart.
The sell-back price we offer is calculated based on several factors, including:
- The current resale value of the same or similar items on resale marketplaces
- The average cost of collecting, cleaning and refurbishing the items we receive
- The percentage of items we receive that have achieved end of life and can't be refurbished and resold
- The history of the condition of items we’ve previously received from you
- For example, if the condition of the items you send us is consistently better than the average condition for similar items at a similar age, you will receive a higher sell-back price than someone who doesn’t take as good care of their clothes
We never reject an item based on its condition or retroactively amend the instant sell-back price you've received.
